Book sales supplement collection expansion funds as well as children’s and adult library programming. The Friends of the Library welcomes your donations that are in suitable condition for resale at our book sale. Donations for the October book sale will be accepted beginning September 3, 2026 – a limit of 2 boxes per household. Donations must be dropped off with the box; we are unable to accept piles of books without a box.

The library accepts the following items:

• New books or gently used books in very good condition (adult and children’s)
• Puzzles, DVDs, and computer games

The library does not accept the following items:

• Magazines
• Books that are old, torn, yellowed, or damaged by mold, water, or dirt
• Reader’s Digest Condensed books
• Textbooks
• VHS tapes
• Encyclopedias
