Summer Reading Program
Kick-off is Wednesday, June 25th at 10:00am
at the library.
Come and see Incredible Bats!,
a presentation that includes
real, live bats!
The rest of the schedule is as follows:
July 2nd at 1:00pm at the library —- Kitchen Chemistry
Fun experiments using everyday household ingredients
July 9th at 1:00pm at Lunda Park —- Float Your Boat!
Build a boat and make it float! (rainy day will be at the library)
July 16th at 1:00pm at the library —- The Scoop on Gloop
Is it a liquid? Is it a solid? It’s Gloop!
July 23rd at 1:00pm at the library —- Build It!
How strong is your tower made of straws and tape?
July 30th at 1:00pm at the library —- Final Party
Our Summer Reading Program consists of two parts:
Reading and Events
To participate in Reading, just pick up a reading log at the library on or after kick-off and record what you have read. Bring the log back to the library to pick out a cool prize!
To participate in the events, just show up! Come to all or just a few, but be prepared to have a great time. And maybe, just maybe, the Mad Scientist will make another appearance…
