The Black River Falls Public Library invites the public to be part of a Patriotic Quilt Display. Join us on Saturday, June 25, 2022, when the Jackson County History Room will host a Patriotic Quilt Tea in the Library’s Program Room, beginning at 10 a.m. Area quilters, sewing enthusiasts, knitters, and crocheters are invited to share their patriotic/red, white, & blue quilt or afghan, and the story behind it. You need not have a quilt to share to attend the event and registration is appreciated but not required. Items can be dropped off at the Library by Thursday, June 23, and need to include a name, address, and phone number. Mary I. Woods and Kay Kohlman are heading up the display that will be in the Library’s program room throughout the month of July. The display will end on July 29, with the items available for pick-up after that date.

In conjunction with this display, donations are being accepted for lap blankets to be donated to Be Home in Black River Falls. These blankets will be given to Be Home Hospice and Home Care patients in our area. Already, several individuals have offered to donate the items they are planning to display to this worthwhile project.

To register or for more information about the Patriotic Quilt Display or the Lap Blanket Donation Project, contact Mary Woods at the Black River Falls Public Library, 715-284-4112, #3 or by email, m.woods@wrlsweb.org.
