Children's Book Week

Children’s Book Week, the longest-running national literacy event in the country, will be celebrated this year during the week of May 12–18.

                                                                                       

 S.A. Bodeen will launch her new YA novel, Wednesday, May 14 at 6:00p.m.       

Amnesty

  In celebration of the week we will be offering amnesty from overdue book fines to all youth through 12th grade with their own library card.  This will not apply to lost or non-returned items and you need to come in the library to receive your amnesty.  This is our way of making sure everyone has their library card ready for the summer and all the activities that will be going on.

Since 1919, educators, librarians, booksellers, and families have celebrated Children's Book Week.
