Children’s Program’s  & Activities

 

We provide materials and services for children, young adults, parents, teachers, and others who work with children.


Books:
Board books for babies and toddlers.
Preschool music cassettes and CD's.
Picture books for all ages.
Easy readers for beginning readers.
Transitional readers
Fiction fourth through ninth grade.
Nonfiction for preschool on up.
Fiction and nonfiction for Young Adults.

Award winning books for all ages.


Audio:

Books with cassettes and CD's are available for preschoolers through Young Adults.

 

Magazines:

Twenty different periodicals are available for preschoolers through young adults.  An online database for magazines and homework articles are available at www.badgerlink.net using EBSCO.

 

 Early Childhood Resources:

A large selection of reference material containing ideas, patterns and literature to help develop and support preschool and day care curriculum. Theme packets are available for check out to enhance weekly subject areas.

 

Computers:

A public computer is available for internet use only.  Young adults in seventh grade and above are able to use this service for email and reference only. Online databases for encyclopedia and dictionary are also available by clicking on Searchasaurus.
