Children’s Program’s & Activities
Preschool story times are offered during the school year on Tuesdays. For more information about these registered programs check with the Youth Services Coordinator.
Summer Library Program has something for everyone preschool through ninth grade. Including incentive reading and weekly programs by performers as well as stories and crafts.
Special events are held during National Library Week in April and Children’s Book Week in November.
Some “R” Teens is a volunteer group of young adults who assist in children’s programming.

Books with cassettes and CD's are available for preschoolers through Young Adults.
Magazines:
Twenty different periodicals are available for preschoolers through young adults. An online database for magazines and homework articles are available at www.badgerlink.net using EBSCO.
Early Childhood Resources:
A large selection of reference material containing ideas, patterns and literature to help develop and support preschool and day care curriculum. Theme packets are available for check out to enhance weekly subject areas.
Computers:
A public computer is available for internet use only. Young adults in seventh grade and above are able to use this service for email and reference only. Online databases for encyclopedia and dictionary are also available by clicking on Searchasaurus.
